My story

Adeagbo David Victor

Shopify Ecommerce Website Designer & Marketing Expert

Since I was a child, at 13, I have always imagined there is a world much more to technology than what was in front of me. Growing up, I always had the passion of helping sellers turn their products into real online businesses. Now I am grateful and thankful to be at large, working with ecommerce and DTC brands across the world.

From curiosity to craft

Age 13

The first spark

Since I was a child, at 13, I always imagined there was a world far bigger inside technology than what I could see around me. I would sit with a slow connection, pulling apart websites just to understand how a page could be built by a person and then used by thousands of strangers.

Growing up

A passion for sellers

Growing up, I kept noticing the same thing everywhere I looked. People had genuinely good products, but the way they sold them online was holding them back. That is where the passion came from, helping sellers get the online presence their products actually deserve.

2023

Going all in on Shopify

I went deep into Shopify: design, Liquid, theme customization, apps and the marketing side. Not as a hobby, as a craft. Every store I touched taught me something new about why people buy and why they leave.

Now

Grateful for where I stand

Now I am grateful and thankful to be where I am. Over 50 ecommerce and DTC brands worldwide, stores that were quiet now making steady profit, founders who trust me with their revenue. Clients in Sweden, Greece and Germany, and work that keeps growing by word of mouth.

Next

Where this is going

The mission has not changed since I was 13. Build ecommerce experiences that respect the buyer and reward the seller. No matter what products you sell, I can build a professional store that turns visitors into customers.

Skills & expertise

Tap any skill to see exactly how I do it, how I approach it and how we execute it together on your store.

How I do it

I design store by store, never from a recycled template. Homepage, collection, product page and cart are treated as one funnel with one job: turn a visitor into a paying customer.

How I approach it

I start with your offer, margins and buyer objections, then map the shopping path before touching a single section. Layout follows the objection order, so every scroll answers the next question in the buyer's head.

How we execute it

Wireframe and copy skeleton, then high fidelity design, then a live build on your theme with speed and mobile checks, a test order run, and a walkthrough recording so you can run the store yourself.

Talk about this

How I do it

I keep what already converts and rebuild what leaks. Most revamps do not need a new brand, they need a clearer offer, faster pages and a stronger product page.

How I approach it

A full audit first: analytics, heatmap behaviour, page speed, checkout drop off and mobile experience. Every fix gets ranked by revenue impact against effort.

How we execute it

Priority fixes ship in week one, structural redesign follows, then we compare conversion rate, average order value and bounce against the baseline I recorded before we started.

Talk about this

How I do it

Liquid, schema settings and metafields let me build sections you can edit yourself, instead of hard coding designs that lock you in.

How I approach it

Work happens on a duplicated theme, never live. Custom code stays modular so a future theme update does not wipe the work.

How we execute it

Build on the dev theme, test across devices and browsers, then publish in a low traffic window with a rollback copy kept ready.

Talk about this

How I do it

Sticky add to cart bars, size guides, custom badges, countdowns, tab layouts and quantity breaks, built clean and lightweight.

How I approach it

Lightest possible solution first. Bloated scripts cost load time, and load time costs sales, so I write only what the feature needs.

How we execute it

Scoped CSS and vanilla JavaScript, tested on real phones, measured against page speed before and after so nothing slows the store down.

Talk about this

How I do it

Most stores pay for apps that duplicate each other. I audit the stack, cut the overlap and keep the few that move revenue.

How I approach it

Every app must justify itself with a number: reviews, upsells, subscriptions, bundles or email. If it cannot be measured, it goes.

How we execute it

Install, configure, style to match your brand, connect to your email platform and analytics, then document what each app does and who owns it.

Talk about this

How I do it

I work on the highest traffic pages first, fixing friction in the order buyers meet it: clarity, trust, then urgency.

How I approach it

Every change is a hypothesis with a metric attached. No guessing, no redesign for the sake of taste.

How we execute it

Baseline the numbers, ship one change set at a time, watch a full buying cycle, keep the winners and record every result so the store keeps compounding.

Talk about this

How I do it

Mobile carries most DTC revenue, so design starts at 375px wide and grows up, not the other way around.

How I approach it

Clear type hierarchy, generous tap targets, honest imagery and no dark patterns. Trust converts better than tricks.

How we execute it

Design system first, then screens, then a clickable prototype you can tap through before development starts.

Talk about this

How I do it

Above the fold does the selling: name, promise, price, proof, variant clarity and one obvious add to cart.

How I approach it

I write the objection list with you, then answer each one in order down the page with copy, imagery, reviews and specifics.

How we execute it

Gallery structure, benefit blocks, review placement, FAQ, shipping clarity and upsell logic, then measure add to cart rate before and after.

Talk about this

How I do it

Automated flows first because they run forever, then a campaign calendar on top for launches and promos.

How I approach it

Segment by behaviour, not by blast. Buyers, browsers and lapsed customers each get their own message and timing.

How we execute it

Welcome, abandoned browse, abandoned cart, post purchase and win back flows built and designed, then reviewed monthly on revenue per recipient.

Talk about this

How I do it

Creative angles come from real customer language, reviews and support questions, then get produced as a repeatable content system.

How I approach it

Hook, proof, offer. Test angles in volume, then scale the few that hold attention past three seconds.

How we execute it

Content pillars, monthly calendar, static and carousel design, captions written for search, then a report on what earned saves, shares and clicks.

Talk about this

How I do it

Static ads win on message clarity. One idea per frame, legible on a small screen, brand consistent across the set.

How I approach it

I build creative in batches of angles, comparison, testimonial, offer and problem solution, so there is always something new to test.

How we execute it

Concepting, copywriting, design and export in every placement ratio, delivered ready to launch with naming conventions your media buyer can track.

Talk about this

How I do it

Ad promise and page headline match word for word, so nobody bounces from a mismatch.

How I approach it

One offer, one action, zero distractions. Navigation is trimmed and everything below the fold supports the same decision.

How we execute it

Copy structure, design, build, speed pass, then conversion tracking wired so you can judge the page by cost per acquisition.

Talk about this

How I do it

Technical foundation, then content built around real buying intent, then authority through relevant links.

How I approach it

Product and collection pages come before blog posts, because those pages are what people search when ready to buy.

How we execute it

Technical fixes, schema markup, keyword mapped page copy, internal linking and outreach for backlinks, reported by ranking and organic revenue.

Talk about this

How I do it

Identity is built for ecommerce reality first: tiny logos, thumbnails, ad frames and packaging.

How I approach it

Positioning before prettiness. What you stand for decides the palette, type and voice, not the other way around.

How we execute it

Logo system, colour and type scales, imagery direction and a usage guide, delivered with ready to use templates for store and social.
